# Visiting Boaters at Nivå Harbour

**Welcome to Nivå Harbour**

Dear Visiting Sailor,

Welcome to Nivå Harbour. We are delighted to have you as our guest and hope you enjoy your stay with us.

Whether you are stopping for a short visit or staying overnight, we hope you will appreciate the peaceful surroundings, the friendly harbour atmosphere, and the facilities available to our guests.

If you have any questions or require assistance during your stay, please do not hesitate to visit the Harbour Office. Our staff will be happy to help.

**Practical Information**

1. Available guest berths are marked with **green signs**.
2. Please pay the harbour fee immediately upon arrival.
3. Payment can be made using the QR codes displayed throughout the harbour.
4. Your payment receipt includes access codes for the toilets, showers, laundry facilities, and bicycle key cabinet.
5. Your boat ticket is valid for **24 hours from the time of purchase** and includes:
    - Electricity
    - Water
    - Showers and toilets
    - Free use of harbour bicycles

**Please note:** If you are unable to present a valid payment receipt, an inspection fee will be charged in addition to the applicable harbour fee.

**Harbour Fees for Visiting Boats (2026 Rates)**

- Boats up to 29 ft: **DKK 200**
- Boats over 29 ft and up to 36 ft: **DKK 220**
- Boats over 36 ft: **DKK 260**
- Half-day / Lunch Ticket (valid until 4:00 PM): **DKK 105**

**Reservations** Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve a berth in advance. Berths are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

**Toilets and Showers** Toilet and shower facilities are located in the **Boater Services Building (Sejlerservice)** next to **Café Strandhuset**.

The access code can be found on your payment receipt.

**Laundry Facilities** The laundry room is located next to **Café Strandhuset**.

The access code is provided on your payment receipt.

Laundry machine tokens can be purchased via the QR codes displayed on site and collected from the Harbour Office during opening hours.

Outside Harbour Office opening hours, tokens may be collected from Café Strandhuset upon presentation of your payment receipt.

**Free Loan Bicycles** The bicycle key cabinet is located at the entrance to the Harbour Office.

The cabinet access code can be found on your payment receipt.

**Please remember to return the bicycle key when you have finished using the bicycle so that other guests may enjoy the service as well.**

**Waste Disposal** General waste bins are located throughout the harbour area.

Additional facilities include:

- A bottle recycling container at the environmental station located at the south-western end of the main car park.
- A waste-sorting and recycling area at the same location.

**Hazardous Waste** Oil, paint, batteries, and other hazardous materials must be disposed of at the environmental station located at the south-western end of the main car park.

**Swimming and Fishing** For safety reasons, swimming and fishing are not permitted within the harbour basin or from the harbour breakwaters and piers.

Excellent swimming facilities can be found at the beach immediately south of the harbour.

**Pump-Out Station** The discharge of marine toilets, oil, fuel-contaminated water, or similar substances into the harbour is strictly prohibited.

A pump-out station for holding tanks is available at the service quay.

**Please read the operating instructions carefully before using the facility.**

**Disposal Room** Portable and dry toilets must be emptied in the disposal room located in the courtyard of **Nivå Boat Club (Nivå Bådelaug)**.
